BUSINESS GROWTH SESSION
Step back from the day-to-day and work out what comes next
A focused 90-minute session to explore where you are, where you want to go and what could make the greatest difference next.
BUSINESS GROWTH SESSION
Sometimes you’re simply too close to see the way forward
When you’re dealing with the everyday demands of running a business, managing the marketing or keeping a team moving, it can be difficult to find the space to think properly.
You may have plenty of ideas but no clear priority. You might know something needs to change without being able to put your finger on exactly what. Or perhaps an important goal keeps being pushed back while more urgent work takes over.
A Business Growth Session gives you permission to pause, put everything on the table and look at the bigger picture with experienced people alongside you.
What is a Business Growth Session?
This is a proper working session built around your business, your goals and the questions currently taking up space in your head.
Together, we’ll explore what’s working, what feels stuck and what you would most like to change.
We’ll look at your current marketing and visibility, the experience you give your customers, the opportunities available to you and whether your existing time, skills and resources are enough to make the progress you want.
You don’t need to know which service or InnerDot package you need before coming. You don’t even need to be completely certain what the problem is.
That’s what the session is there to help uncover.
Who is the session for?
The Business Growth Session isn’t only for business owners.
It can be useful if you’re:
- Running or leading a business.
- Responsible for marketing without senior marketing support.
- Managing a team, project or period of change.
- Trying to turn an idea into a practical plan.
- Juggling several priorities and unsure where to focus.
- Looking for experienced, independent input before making an important decision.
- Considering InnerDot but unsure whether Flow, Motion or Orbit would be right for you.
If you have responsibility for helping the organisation move forward, this session gives you space to think it through.
A little preparation makes for a much better conversation
Once your session is booked, we’ll send you a short preparation form.
Don’t worry, it won’t be an eight-page interrogation or require a weekend with a calculator.
We’ll ask you to tell us a little about the business, what prompted you to book and what you would most like to achieve. We’ll also ask about your main priorities and anything that currently feels as though it is getting in the way.
If you have useful figures available, such as monthly enquiries, customer numbers, website traffic or average sales, bring them along. They don’t need to be perfect, and we won’t expect you to produce information you don’t already have.
The preparation should take around 10–15 minutes and will help us spend more of the session discussing what matters rather than gathering basic information.
How it works

Choose your Date & Time
Choose a suitable date and time, and tell us a little about who you are and what has prompted you to book.

Prepare yourselves
We’ll send you a handful of questions to help us understand the starting point and prepare for a useful conversation.

We work through it together
During the two-hour session, we’ll explore your goals, challenges and opportunities before identifying the areas most deserving of your attention.
What will you leave with?
By the end of the session, you should have:
- A clearer understanding of your current position.
- Greater clarity around the goals that matter most.
- A better sense of what may be holding progress back.
- An initial view of the strongest opportunities.
- Recommended priorities and useful next steps.
- An honest recommendation about the support you may need.
Afterwards, we’ll provide a concise summary of what we discussed and our recommendations.
If InnerDot is the right next step, we’ll explain whether Flow, Motion or Orbit would offer the most appropriate level of support. There is no expectation that you decide during the session.
This isn’t a disguised sales pitch
Naturally, we’ll explain how we may be able to support you if there is a good fit.
But we won’t force InnerDot into a situation where it isn’t the right answer.
The purpose of the session is to understand what’s happening, help you gain clarity and identify the most useful next step. Sometimes that will be working with us. Sometimes it may be something you can take away and begin addressing yourself.
Either way, we want the conversation to be worthwhile.
Your Business Growth Session questions answered
How long does the session last?
The Business Growth Session lasts approximately 90-minutes, giving us enough time to look beyond the immediate symptoms and explore the wider picture properly.
Is the Business Growth Session free?
Yes. There is no charge for the session and no obligation to join InnerDot afterwards.
We ask that you complete the short preparation beforehand so we can make the best use of the time together.
Do I need to prepare lots of information?
No. We’ll send you a short form which should take around 10–15 minutes to complete.
If you have useful figures or reports readily available, by all means bring them, but you don’t need perfectly organised data or a finished business plan.
Who should attend?
Anyone closely involved in the goals or decisions being discussed can attend.
Depending on the situation, that might be the business owner, a director, marketing manager, office manager or another key member of the team. Where possible, it helps to include someone who can make or approve decisions.
Is the session held in person?
Where practical, we prefer to hold Business Growth Sessions in person because it creates more space for an open, useful working conversation.
If you’re further afield or meeting in person isn’t practical, talk to us about arranging the session online.
What happens after the session?
We’ll send you a concise summary of the main goals, challenges, opportunities and recommended next steps.
If ongoing support would be useful, we’ll also explain whether Flow, Motion or Orbit is likely to be the best fit. You’ll have time to consider the recommendation without being expected to decide there and then.
